Website & Purchase Terms
These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Mazie & Co. website and any hire or purchase order placed with Mazie & Co. ("we", "us", "our"), a boutique event décor business based in Truganina, Victoria. By browsing this website or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these terms.
These terms should be read alongside our Hire Agreement, Privacy Policy and Shipping & Delivery Policy, which form part of the agreement between you and Mazie & Co.
Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) that cannot be excluded, restricted or modified.
Use of This Website
- All content, images, branding and design on this website are the property of Mazie & Co. and may not be reproduced without written permission
- Product photography is progressively updated with real images; some placeholders may remain in place during the current build
- You agree not to misuse this website, attempt unauthorised access, or interfere with its normal operation
- Prices, product availability and lead times shown on this website are indicative and may change without notice until an order is confirmed
Orders, Quotes & Payment
- Most items are made to order; production begins once your order is confirmed and any required deposit is received
- Custom sizes, colours, finishes and engraving are quoted individually and confirmed in writing before production
- All prices are listed in Australian Dollars (AUD) and are subject to change until an order is confirmed
- A deposit or full payment (as advised at the time of quote) is required to secure production and/or your event date
- Full and final payment is required prior to delivery, pickup or event date, unless otherwise agreed in writing
Cancellations & changes to sale orders
Because most pieces are custom-made to order, cancellations or changes requested after production has commenced may not be possible, or may incur a fee reflecting materials and labour already committed. Contact us as early as possible if your requirements change.
Hire Orders
Hire bookings are governed by these Terms and Conditions together with our dedicated Hire Agreement, which covers bond, care of items, delivery/collection and damage terms in detail. By placing a hire booking you agree to both documents.
- Hire pricing is charged per event, not per day
- All hire items remain the property of Mazie & Co. at all times
- A refundable bond applies to hire bookings; the bond amount is specified per item at the time of quote
Returns, Refunds & Faulty Items
- As pieces are custom-made to order, we're unable to offer refunds or exchanges for change of mind
- Where an item arrives faulty, damaged in transit, or not as described, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery or pickup so we can arrange a repair, replacement or remedy in line with the Australian Consumer Law
- Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law are not limited or excluded by this policy
Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mazie & Co. is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from the use or hire of our products, including loss relating to event scheduling, third-party vendors or venue requirements.
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded.
